POWER Summit is a week long experience for high school students (and others)
based in the values of:
* sustainability,
* global citizenship,
* creation spirituality,
* peace and nonviolence,
* creativity.
POWER (Peace Organizing World Ecological Renewal) Summit is a great place for high school students to uncover their inner leader and get active on issues that affect the whole world.
It's also a great place for adult leaders (and St Joseph Workers) to re-energize and learn more about being a leader for social change.
St. Joseph Workers are an integral part of the POWER Summit planning process and participate every year in the event itself, usually held in the first part of June. We work on this project every year in conjunction with student leaders and the staff of Celeste's Dream, another ministry of the Sisters of St Joseph of Carondelet.
